Karen Marie Leutzinger Edenfield

Karen Marie Leutzinger Edenfield, 62, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness with diabetes.

The lifelong resident of Savannah was a graduate of Windsor Forest High School and worked as a cashier with Walmart for many years.  In her spare time, Karen had a passion for the white sand beach and gentle ocean breezes of Tybee Island.  Her big smile…and love for laughter will be greatly missed by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Leutzinger and Emma Stokes Withington and her sister Laura Leutzinger Spencer.

Surviving are her husband of 17 years, James Steven Edenfield of Savannah; step-daughter, Sarah Denise Edenfield of Pembroke and many cousins and close friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
